Russell Crowe Is Selling Everything

Watches, diamonds, cricket bats and a Roman chariot... Russell Crowe is putting up 227 items for auction.

Are you a fan of Russell Crowe or any of the movies that he has starred in? Well we have some good news for you (if you happen to have a lot of money), because just about every single one of Russell Crowe’s personal belongings and movie momentos are for sale!

The Australian/Kiwi star of American Gangster, Gladiator and many more major Hollywood films is putting 227 items up for Auction at Sotheby’s Australia on April 7, in a sale named ‘The Art of the Divorce’.

Despite separating with singer Danielle Spencer back in 2012, the divorce was only finalised late last year, and it appears that Crowe is keen to make some cash back after losing his $11 million Rose Bay home to his now ex-wife.

Watches, diamond rings, art pieces, several guitars, a mercedes and two motorbikes will be available to the highest bidder, but Crowe’s movie memorabilia is the real highlight.

A fully functioning Roman chariot and a life-size fake horse from Gladiator is for sale, along with a blue pair of Everlast boxing shorts worn by Crowe in Cinderella Man. Denzel Washington fans can also own a piece of history, thanks to a director’s chair seat back with “Denzel Washington” printed on it, from the 2007 blockbuster American Gangster.

But wait, there’s still more…

Sports fans can stock up at The Art of the Divorce too, with plenty of match-worn cricket memorabilia, signed baseballs and a few tennis trophies also for sale. On top of this, we wouldn’t be surprised if Rusty is selling tampered cricket balls from the Australian test team!

Despite the unbelievable list of items for sale, the most impressive fact about the auction might just be the date that is taking place - April 7, the day of Crowe’s birthday and wedding anniversary.

With so many expensive and sentimental items available, it’s safe to say we haven’t seen a sale this big since the one below!
