Supreme x Nike NBA Collab
Get ready for the playoffs! Supreme has released a preview of their new capsule collection with Nike and the NBA.
On top of the myriad of Supreme releases that everyone has already been saving up for comes yet another capsule collection that we’ve got our eye on. (But will unlikely be able to purchase.) With the NBA playoffs just around the corner, now is your time to pick up new gear.
Supreme’s much anticipated collaboration with Nike and the NBA teased a jersey with some of our favourite team logos. The multi-logo authentic basketball jersey was definitely an appetiser to the collection, and what followed was an Air Force 1 Mid, a warm-up jacket, and a basketball jersey and shorts.
Although pieces from the collab showcase the NBA graphics, both Supreme and Nike keep their signature “Swoosh” and Box Logo (bless). Another detail that stands out of this collection is the fact that each of the 30 NBA teams have their logos embroidered, instead of printed on the satin-lined warm up jacket.
Unlike the warm-up jacket, the poly-mesh jersey and shorts as well as the Nike AF-1 Mids boast the same design, but it’s printed on - with the exception of an embroidered strap for the Nike AF-1 Mid.
The collection will be available in-store at Supreme’s NY, Brooklyn, LA, London, Paris and Tokyo stores. The AF-1 will be available online only for fans in the US and Europe.
The collab is definitely a celebration of the NBA, but if you were a Knicks fan, would you cop anything from the capsule?
