Ice Cube to Play the Opera House
West Coast legend Ice Cube will be performing at the Sydney Opera House for the 10th anniversary of Vivid Sydney.
The godfather of West Coast hip-hop, Ice Cube, is coming to Australia! He will be joining the likes of indie queen St. Vincent, soulful songstress Solange and hip-hop artist Rejjie Snow at the 10th anniversary of Vivid Sydney, at the iconic Sydney Opera House.

The multi-talented artist is set to play tracks from his explosive political hip-hop album AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted all through to his 2010 release I Am the West. Ice Cube has toured Australia on multiple occasions and has always garnered crowds and sold out venues. Tickets are probably going to sell out fast as this is the only show he will be playing down under.
Vivid Sydney is a 23 day festival of light, music and ideas that will run from May 25 to June 16. The festival will feature an onslaught of some of the best in music, art and professionals in creative fields. Much like White Night in Melbourne, the city of Sydney will be lit up with engaging light designs. Think massive projections on Luna Park, Taronga Zoo and the newly built Barangaroo.
