LiAngelo Ball Declares for the NBA Draft

LiAngelo Ball has declared for this year's NBA draft, and LaVar Ball is already making threats.

LiAngelo Ball has announced through his agent, Harrison Gaines, that he has declared for this year’s NBA draft. The 19 year old will be working out for several NBA teams when he finishes up with Lithuanian side Vytautus Prienu.

The guard/forward has established himself as a pro player this season in Lithuania, after being caught up in a shoplifting scandal while touring China with his now former college UCLA.

Both LiAngelo and his younger brother LaMelo, who also has been playing in Lithuania, have hopes of joining brother Lonzo in the NBA, and ‘’Gelo” announced his draft declaration shortly after scoring 72 points in a game between Vytautus Prienu and a youth team from China, the Guangdong Southern Tigers.

LiAngelo Ball could be joining older brother Lonzo in the NBA.

Yahoo Sports notes that LiAngelo might have a good shot at impressing team executives, as NBA teams are valuing 3-point shooting and defending wings more than ever before. LiAngelo seems to possess both of these attributes, “averaging a league-leading 15.7 points and 2.9 rebounds, and is shooting 45% from 3-point range in nine first-division Lithuanian league games.”

Unsurprisingly, LaVar Ball has mentioned Lonzo could be leaving the Lakers if LiAngelo does not get signed (Good luck with that, Big Baller).
