We may have missed the speed and precision of Conor McGregor’s left-hand in recent times, but at UFC Fight Night 127 we were served close to the next best thing. It took Danny ‘Hot Chocolate’ Roberts just over two minutes in the first round to stop Swede, Oliver Enkamp, with a brutal straight left to the jaw.
Octagon newcomer Enkamp nervously toyed with a spinning kick and a couple of ineffective oblique kicks early in the round, before stepping into Roberts’ blistering left. Enkamp immediately collapsed to canvas as the referee stepped in to call the stoppage.
Roberts has now finished three of his four UFC fights by stoppage and redeems his December KO loss to Nordine Taleb.
