Real Madrid’s Interactive Exhibition

The 33 time Spanish Champions will begin their interactive exhibition in Melbourne, complete with every major trophy.

Current Champions League title holders Real Madrid are coming to Australia, but not to play any soccer.

Arguably the most glamorous team in history will take the show on the road for the Real Madrid World of Football Experience, which is an interactive exhibition that replicates the club’s museum housed within their home ground - the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

This will be the first time in Real’s 116 year history that they have taken their massive collection of trophies and priceless memorabilia outside of Madrid, and includes all 33 of their Spanish La Liga trophies and 12 Champions League titles.

A 1,500 square-metre travelling pavilion which is inspired by the Bernabéu will be set up outside the Melbourne Museum, and will be on show from June 9 until August 5. Melbourne is the first city in the world to host the travelling tour.

Along with the club’s impressive collection of trophies, the exhibition will also feature physical and digital experiences, highlighted by a 360˚ interactive match day experience which puts you inside a virtual Real Madrid home game. Soccer enthusiasts will also get the chance to test their skills against some of Real’s superstars with a virtual skills competition.

Real Madrid and the city of Melbourne continue to enjoy a fruitful relationship following the club’s successful tour in 2015, where they played friendlies against Manchester City and Roma at the MCG. We’re guessing the sold out crowd of 99,000 on a cold Melbourne night may have encouraged Real to bring their interactive exhibition down under.

Will they add a 13th Champions League trophy before the tour begins?
