Marvel’s Animated Black Panther Series Is Now Streaming

Marvel Knights Animation has released the Black Panther series on YouTube, and you can stream it for free.

Still shook from Black Panther? Well you’re in luck, because Marvel has oh so generously decided to upload their animated Black Panther series to YouTube, allowing you to watch it in its entirety, for free.

The six episode series, which was released in 2011 by Marvel Knights Animation was very well received, and it was only natural for the studio to bring some focus to it after all the hype garnered from the Black Panther movie.

The 20 minute episodes have a star-studded cast which includes Djimon Housou as T’Challa, Stan Lee as General Wallace, Kerry Washington as Princess Shuri and Alfre Woodard as Queen Mother.

The plot of the series is based around the T’Chaka’s assassination and how T’Challa deals with grieving over his dad, seeking revenge and dealing with jealousy from other members of the Wakandan royal court.

No superhero cartoon is complete without bad guys, and in this series we see Klaw (the man who killed T’Chaka) assembling a group of villains to help him take over Wakanda. The villains featured in the series consist of Batroc the Leaper, Juggernaut, the Vatican Black Knight, and the Russian Radioactive Man.

Because it’s a Marvel story, there’ll be other appearances from Captain America, Storm, Cyclops, Wolverine and Nightcrawler.

On top of this, April will see the release of the new Avengers: Infinity War movie which has Chadwick Boseman reprising his role as King T’Challa.
