The Most Inappropriate Jokes In Animated Kids Films
Next time you are forced to sit through a kids movie, you may enjoy it more than you realise, thanks to crude adult jokes.
It goes without saying that kids films, are created for kids. But they’re made by adults, and those animators never forget about all the adults who have to sit through these films. So naturally, they decide to kindly sprinkle kids animation films with adult oriented jokes designed to fly over the kid’s heads perfectly.
We’ve gone through the archives and lined up some edgy jokes that are buried in classic animated films. Almost all of them are probably too inappropriate for kids films, but hey, that doesn’t stop the animators.
Like the time in Shrek, where Shrek and Donkey come across Lord Farquaard’s huge castle and aptly suggest that he might possibly be compensating for a certain, smaller personal item. Kids just aren’t in tune with the hotly contested debate, and animators take complete advantage of it.
Or in The Road to Eldorado when Tulio and Chel are interrupted by the High Priest of the golden city. Due to the place where Chel’s head pops up in relation to Tulio’s body, I think we can assume they were having more than a deep and meaningful conversation.
Or even when Migel and Tulio start being treated like gods, they’re given a vibrant purple liquid, and sing “Let’s be gods, the perks are great.” After a second cup of strange liquid the visuals become increasingly more trippy and end with the horse passing out.
Everyone loves Ice Age, and everyone loves Sid the Sloth and his slight lack of intuition. Specifically, when Sid wants to help save some baby dinosaurs by getting milk. He manages to choose a male ram. And the rest is history.
There is also a special moment in Tarzan when Jane is drawing a picture of Tarzan on a blackboard, and talking about the intensity of his eyes. Jane’s father catches on, and manages to make one of the most underrated inappropriate Disney jokes of all time.
Possibly, one of the best Disney weddings takes place in Aladdin. Just as Jasmine and Aladdin get hitched there is an earthquake, and Genie manages to drop a solid joke about what happens when newly weds head for their honeymoon!
The reuniting of Miss Piggy and Kermit in Muppet Treasure Island is sweet, sad and innocent. Until Miss Piggy is telling Kermit she found another man. “He was a pirate, I was a lady, you know the story.” And then Long John Silver turns up and the situation escalates. Now, there is no problem with Miss Piggy deciding to go for multiple men, she is her own pig afterall. But the fact that this is effortlessly buried in a disney movie is just too good to ignore.
There is a break from the dick jokes in The Santa Claus, when Santa is lifted high above the house and relives the ‘high’ life of his past, stating “it’s okay i lived through the sixties”.
So there you have it. Many kids movies are packed with inappropriate adult jokes, and this is just a few of them. Imagine how many are yet to be discovered! Most of these jokes are quite harmless, and the kids have absolutely no idea about them, but hey, all the more entertaining for us.
